Superhuman Vision, Professor Josef Bille's vision

Professor Josef Bille picked up a lifetime achievement award at Europe's Inventor Awards which recognises inventors for their past achievements.

The laser eye surgery pioneer has suggested that we are close to a wold where everyone will have superhuman vision."After 2,000 years of no hunting and too much reading, 20/20 vision is as good as human eyes get in nature, but we now have the technology to give people 20/10 vision – in other words, sight that is twice as good as what they have at present,", furthermore he said that "Humans don't see well at night, but cats do. So we'll make truck drivers see more like cats. For office workers, however, the goals will be different,"

Considering the advancements in the last 20 years in Laser Eye Surgery treatment, he may be right.
