Is bad eyesight unattractive?

We are all concious about how we look to others, especially the opposite sex - is there a need to get rid of even contact lenses now with so much pressure on maintaining our vanity?

In the early 80's glasses were a way of life, perhaps you may have had to wear a patch, the ubiquitous patch wearer in school is remembered by all.

Many UK dating sites ask the question whether you are a glasses wearer or not. Does it matter? and why don't they ask if you have had Lasik?

Does it matter if your date wore glasses at some point in their life, currently wears contacts and if they have had Lasik?

Sites such as the one below do not ask you such questions. Naughty dating sites in the UK probably just don't care.


Do you care if someone has bad eyesight when you check them out?

    It does matter to me. But with today's technology, there are many low vision products that can help people see.
