Lasik Deaths

We have covered this subject before in different contexts. Death by Lasik is a popular discussion point on the internet. To cut a long story short, there is as much chance of death from Lasik as getting hit by a meteor!

The recent instalment of the Final Destination series of movies has not done much to help matters, but it's probably as believable as the young girls getting fried in the sunbed scene in one of the previous movies.

Laser Eye Surgery is one of the safest and most commonly carried out surgical procedures in the world. There are many myths surrounding the procedure, such as pain, and even side effects as wacky as x-ray vision. Nobody dies of Lasik. At most, one in many thousands experiences some sort of small complication which is resolved by follow up treatment.

Don't have nightmares, and don't read the horror stories, read the good testimonials, shop around and be positive about the opportunity to improve your vision.
