ReLEx Laser Eye Surgery, the future?

Laser Eye Surgery has come on in leaps and bounds in the last few years. The main focus, other than giving the best results is the reduction in discomfort from the intrusive nature of Laser Eye Surgery or LASIK.

Kal Chauhan, a mother of 45, has become the first ever person to have the procedure performed in the UK, providing a remedy for a -11 prescription.

Kal received the treatment at the London Vision Clinic, and according to the Mirror newspaper the procedure left her with "better than 20/20 vision".

The costs of the procedure for Kal were around £4000, however, with the existing Laser Eye Surgery procedures being driven down by competitive marketing, it may be as ReLex becomes more popular and widespread that the prices will be driven down.
